WILLY-T & NORMAN “TREASURE" ISLAND, BVI
Norman Island is a great stop while in the area. Tie up to the Willy T floating pirate ship bar, and “fall off” the top deck into the crystal clear water over and over again. Whatever kind of day you are having, the Willy T can be your host. If you are looking for grub on the beach, we can run into Pirates Bite for delicious lunch and drinks. After lunch and maybe a quick and friends game of beach volleyball, shoot over to the Caves for a snorkel to remember. Norman Island is known from writer, Robert Louis Stevenson, and the book Treasure Island. The Caves are legendary for a place pirates used to hide their treasure or booty. Jump back on board for two minutes, to the Indians. Definitely some of the best snorkeling around for experienced snorkelers.
Willy-T is the world-famous floating Bar on a newly built barge off the shores of Peter Island. Named after famed corsair and pirate William Thornton, it is a favorite of cruisers for dinner and drinks. Depending on the destination we could easily stop here for lunch or drinks.
